John Halloran

When John Halloran isn’t flying around in planes, he is cruising around the ocean living the dream. John completed his Master 24 and Coxswain Grade 2 with PTG.

“I am a retired airline pilot with some sea time in the past, looking to change careers. I have just finished 3 courses run by Paradigm Training Group. First Aid, Certificate 2 Coxswain and Certificate 3 Masters. If you are looking to do something similar, the quality and standards of the organisation putting the courses together was outstanding. Nothing was ever too much trouble and the relationship developed between students and managerial staff is professional, helpful and above all friendly.

Our instructors Doug Kent and Gary Cook (marine managers and specialists) were able to impart their knowledge in an understandable way, even with the most challenging section of the curriculum. You are expected to turn up doing all the pre-course work however they made time available for any extra help we needed on any part.
